Donate to Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund

Back in the Sanctuary again:  Next Sunday May 23rd we will be back in the Main Sanctuary again, after so many months of renovation.  We may not be finished wth it yet, but the final touches will not hinder our celebration to our Lord.  Times will be back to the normal two services in the morning, 8:30am and 10:30am.  The Spanish service will meet in the fellowship hall at 12:00 noon.

Bible Prophecy on Wednesday Evenings:    Starting Wednesday April 28th, we will begin a three week series entitled, "The Final Return of Jesus Christ."  This series will explore Bible prophecy as it relates to the second coming of Christ.  We are living in a period of world history where Bible prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes!  Come and get a Biblical perspective on recent events.

Women of the Word :  Will resume the "Dare to be Daniel"  home Bible studies and will involve interactive group discussion and homework.  These studies will teach you to be relentless in prayer and thrive spiritually in a secular world and find inspiration and motivation to life for the Lord and be ready for His soon return.  If you would like to join a morning or evening group please talk to one of the ladies at the Women's Ministry table.

Starting in May, WOW will start a three week study on the book of Haggai.

A Women's Luncheon will be held on May 8th.  Debbie Bryson will be our guest speaker.  Tickets will be on sale starting April 18th.

A WOW retreat will be held on September 24-25 at Calvary CHapel Conference Center in Murrieta Hot Springs.

The Young Adult Fellowship:  Tonight, April 25th, young adults are invited to this fellowship that meets in Lakewood.  Please see Brian Holland for details.  Please bring a dish to share for the pot faith that begins at 6:00 PM.  Bible study begins at 6:45 PM.  We are currently in the book of Ecclesiastes.

Bread of Life:    Our next Bread of Life food distribution will be May 26th at 8:30 AM.

If you are available to help, we will be bagging food on Tuesday from 3:00-4:30 And will be distributing to the public on  Wedensday. We need help between 9:00am, and 12Noon to distribute food and minister to those who will attend the Bible study.  Food donations are always welcome.  Thank-you for being a vital part of this ministry.

Home Bible Study :  The next Friday night Home Bible Study will be on May 28th at7 PM.  Please see details in the Foyer.

Men of the Word Retreat:  October 8-10 at Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Twin Peaks.

Free Indeed is a ministry that is designed for those who are struggling with any dependencies or sin issues.  Join them on Friday nights at 8 PM for a time of worship, sharing and Bible Study.  Please pray for this important ministry.

Street Evangelism: You can be a part of the evangelism team every Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Please see Brian West for information.

Released Time Education:  We are always looking for teachers and helpers to train for this coming school year!  us or visit the Released Time Website  or call Sally at the Church Office.  Is bringing the Bible to the public school "our local mission fields?"  We are looking for volunteers for the coming school year. 

Convalescent Ministry: Would you like to be a part of a Convalescent Ministry?  Opportunities are available.  Please see Norm Tuazon.

Ministry Needs:

1. Greeters Ministry: This is the ministry that greets people as they come into our church.  This ministry seeks to make people feel welcome and to cultivate in our church an atmosphere of love and joy.  Men and women of all ages are welcome.  Please see Pam Laudate for an application.

2. Children’s Ministry:  Our Children's Ministry has several fall openings for both teachers and teachers' helpers.  Please see Pastor Dan or Debbie Thetford for more information.

3. Usher, Security and Parking Ministry: Ushers are needed for all three Sunday services (English and Spanish).  We also need people who can help direct traffic in our parking lot from 10:05 to 10:30 am.  If you are interested in helping with ushering, security or parking, please see Pastor Steve or Pastor John.
 
4. Volunteer Office Help: Volunteer office helper is needed Tuesday-Friday.  We need several volunteers to help in the church and Released Time office several hours a day.  For more information please contact the church office.

Prayer Ministry: "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."  James 3:16
There are three weekly opportunities to pray.  There is a Tuesday morning prayer meeting that is open to all.  You are welcome to come between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.  The Women's prayer meeting is on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM.  The men meet for prayer on Saturday mornings at 7:00 AM.  The Prayer Ministry of CCNLB is the heart of our church.  Please be involved in this vital Ministry.

CD's are now available:  CD's of the services will be available in the Book Store following the service. Tapes and CD's are $3.00 each.

Children/Youth Prayer Meeting: First Tuesday of every month.
